摘要
20世纪80年代开始,随着网络信息技术的发展和应用,国外图书馆传统服务模式受到严峻挑战。90年代初开始美国图书情报界的一些专家和学者努力创新,先后建立了新的服务模式"信息共享空间"、"学科信息共享空间"。新的服务模式以其优势得到世人认可,许多图书馆重焕生机。文章对国外图书馆几种服务模式进行比较分析,并揭示其实现可持续发展的必然性。
Since the 1980＇s, information technology has developed rapidly and applied widely. The traditional library service model in foreign countries started to face challenges. New service models such as Information Commons and Subject Information Commons was created and established in the early 1990＇s. These models have promoted the development of library and its advantage was recognized soon. This article carries on a comparative analysis of several service patterns of overseas library and reveals the necessity of achieving sustainable development.
