摘要
"教化"概念的建构在时间上是一个过程,在空间上是一个系统。它既是一种方法和手段,又体现了一种境界和理想,表现为合工具性与合目的性的统一;它既关涉德性的养成,又关涉政治的取向,本质上表现为道德性与政治性的统一。总之,"教化"是在个体与社会交往互动的基础上,使一定的价值理念、道德规范和政治要求,有效传递给社会中的个体并内化为自我的内在品质,在普遍性认同的基础上最终通过外在的行为表现出来的一项社会实践活动。
The construction of the concept of edification is both a process in time and a system in space.As a method and an ideal state,edification embodies the unity of instrumentality and purpose.Pertaining to both the formation of morality and the orientation of politics,it reflects the unity of moral and political nature.In a word,edification is a kind of social activity based on the interaction between individual and society,which makes certain values,ethics and political demands pass to the individual in society.Then such requirements are internalized into the inner nature of the individual and on the basis of general recoginition edification is eventually shown through external behavior.
