摘要
The characteristics and functions of academic journals and the new demand for documentary information in academic journals in the information age are expounded.By introducing the characteristics of edition and dissemination of printed journals,secondary documents and academic journals(CD),the paper emphasizes the importance of large scale integration and secondary edition of documentary information in journals for enhancing information dissemination and availability ratio of academic journals.
