摘要
目的探讨STAT3在人脑星形细胞瘤发生发展中的作用。方法应用免疫组化二步法检测53例不同级别星形细胞瘤和10例正常脑组织中STAT3及P-STAT3的表达。结果 STAT3、P-STAT3的表达阳性率在正常脑组织及星形细胞瘤中差异有极显著性(P均<0.01);且STAT3、P-STAT3的表达与星形细胞瘤病理级别正相关(P均<0.05),与临床病理特征无关。结论 STAT3及P-STAT3可作为判断星形细胞瘤恶性程度的依据,在星形细胞瘤的发生发展中可能有着重要的作用。
Objective To investigate the roles of STAT3 in the genesis and development of human astrocytomas. Methods immunohistoehemistry was used to investigated the expression of STAT3 and phosphorylated STAT3 in 53 cases of human astrocytomas of different grades and 10 cases of normal brain. Results The expression of STAT3,P-STAT3 were significantly different between normal brain and human astrocytomas (P 〈 0.01), and the expression of STAT3,P-STAT3 were correlated with the histological grade positively and had no correlation with clinical characters. Conclusion Expression of STAT3 and P-STAT3 can be used to estimate malignancy of astrocytomas;and may play an important role in tumorigenesis and progression of the astrocytomas.
