科技英语文献的翻译研究

Research on the Translation of EST Literature

本文根据科技英语文献中词法和句法上的特点,并且结合作者多年翻译工作实践与体会,介绍了科技文献翻译中的一些主要翻译技巧及其处理方法,即增减词,转换和分译。随着科学技术的飞速发展,科技文献新特点的不断出现,作者提出了一种新的综合翻译技巧,即改形。

Based on the features of the EST literature in word and sentence structure and combined closely with the author′s long experience in EST translation,some main translation crafts and treatments for the EST literature,such as addition and subtraction,alternation and sentence separation are presented in the paper.Along with the rapid development of science and technology,and the increasing generation of the new features of EST literature,the paper describes a new translation craft,namely,textual variants (or reconstruction).
