"批评性话语分析"中的"批评性"到底有什么含义?学术界存在各种不同的观点和解读,本文简述van Dijk、Hammersley、Kress、J.P.Gee、Fairclough、Rogers等批评性话语分析研究专家的主要观点并对其加以评析和整合,力图对"批评性话语分析"这一新兴学科作出一个更清晰的界定。
What does the word 'critical' mean in 'critical discourse analysis'? This question has been addressed in a broad range of ways by researchers in different academic circles.This paper first briefly reviews major assertions about CDA made by such theorists as van Dijk,Hammersley,Kress,Gee,Fairclough,Rogers,etc.Their assumptions and arguments are then analyzed and integrated with a view to arriving at a clearer definition of the discipline.
