摘要
The Han tomb at Shizishan is a tomb of a king of Chu Kingdom of the Western Han. Ithas only one rear chamber and several side chambers. According to typological study onking’s and marguise’s rock tombs of the Western Han, we see evolutional procession fromone chamber (rear) to two (rear and front) to three (rear, middle and front), and this tombshould be earlier than the Han tomb at Beidongshan (the tomb of the fifth king of Chu) andthe Han tomb at Guishan (the tomb of the sixth king of Chu). This tomb was not totallybuilt (the rear chamber was not finished ) and the occupant was bumed in a sidechamber. It’s correspondent with the historical records that after his unsuccessful rebellion,Liuwu, the third king, committed suicide. So he was supposed to be buried unseriously andthe tomb should be his. The unearthed seals and sealed muds from the tomb reflected thatthe authority system of the kingdom at that time was consisted of civil officials and militaryofficials; the titles of military officials as same as that of central empire court.
