广播电视大学英语教师境外培训的实践

如何有效对教学第一线教师进行在职培训一直是电大系统多年来的难题。中央电大主持的"广播电视大学英语教师境外培训项目"自2001年开始,共开设了8期,培训了全电大系统300多名英语教师。总结与评估电大系统英语教师境外培训项目的教学质量与效果,分析电大英语教师培训的紧迫性和艰巨性,论证办好英语教师境外培训项目的关键事项是十分必要的。

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the undergoing summer programme of training Chinese teachers who teachof English within the system of the China Radio ＆ Television University （RTVU）. Further, the study tries to ascertain the programme＇ s impact on teacher training and teaching quality improvement. The training programme was conducted during 2001 - 2003, under the leadership of the China CRTVU. More than 300 English teachers within the system participated. This study introduces four methods on how to operate such training programme successfully. The results of the study show that the teachers benefited from the training, and surely, it will help to improve the RTVU Open ＆ Distance Education System in China.
