本文介绍了我国高校院系资料室的基本现状，分析了院系资料员在学科建设中的主要作用，认为其作用体现在学科文献资源保障、学科信息服务、学科联络和休闲减压等四个方面，借此消除人们对院系资料员对学科建设应起的作用所产生的误解。参考文献11。

This article describes the basic status of college and university reference room in our country and analyzes the department librarian＇s major roles in discipline. Authors believe that its roles are reflected in the following four areas： academic literature resource guarantee, subject information service, subject contact and leisure decompression. It is in order to dispel the misunderstanding that department librarians should not play a role in discipline. 11 Refs.
