男性语境中的新女性形象——用女性主义叙事学解读《法国中尉的女人》

New Woman Image in Male Context

约翰·福尔斯的杰作《法国中尉的女》以新颖的叙事技巧丰富的叙事层次塑造了一个聪颖、叛逆而又神秘女性形象莎拉。本文借鉴西方女性主义叙事学对叙事话语和性别身份的研究,从女性主义叙事学的角度重新解读莎拉的形象,分析福尔斯是如何在男性语境中还原一个文化他者的新女性形象,进而思考莎拉这一新女性形象的出现对以男权为主导的社会历史语境产生的影响。

John Fowles＇ rekowned work The French Lieutenant＇s Woman has modeled a bright, Rebellious woman Sarah with original narrative skills and rich narrative levels. This paper, reinterpreting the image of Sarah from the angle of feminist narratology, analyzes how Fowles returned a new women image with other literature in male contexts, by using for references the researches on narrative discourse, sex and identity with western feminist narratology, and deliberates on the influence by the appearance of Sarah on the social, historical context dominated by male.
