Chen Zhifo wrote Principles of Pattern ABC（1930）,which detailed described the thoughts of patterns and pattern design.And the thoughts in pattern included： the accurate definition of pattern;pattern is the production of simplifying and easifying;the core of pattern is harmony;pattern is full of the beauty and pleasure feelings;pattern emphasizes and seeks function;also as a pattern designer,the good quality and ability is needed.
