The Cultural Control Policy in Louis XIV's Time

文化控制在路易十四时代的法国绝对主义政治和意识形态建构过程中起着重要作用。在这个时期,法国王权围绕着宫廷建立起一整套的象征符号、日常礼仪和修辞方式,以眩目的方式向臣民展示王权权威,培育等级政治秩序的观念。与此同时,王国政府大力推进文化国家化建设,对社会予以收束、侵削或压制,使之服膺于绝对主义意识形态的同一性追求。路易十四时代绝对主义政治的文化建构,在法国营造出古典主义文化的辉煌,但从长时段来看,也埋下了自身衰亡的因子。

'Cultural Control' has played an important role inthe construction of Absolutism politics and ideology in Louis XIV's time. The French king established a whole set of symbols,etiquettes and rhetoric to show the court's authority and cultivate hierarchical political order. In the meantime,the government vigorously promoted cultural control to serve the unification of absolutism ideology. All these foreshadowed its decline in later time.
