＂Mowing＂ and ＂The Last Mowing＂ are two pieces of poems written by famous American poet Robert Frost at different stages of his poetic creation.Based on a comparative analysis of the content as well as the symbolic meaning embodied in the poems,this paper endeavors to find the inner relationship between the two works so as to seek after the poet＇s mental struggling in mowing at the beginning and the developing period of his career.
