Textual Study of Salt Officials System in Song Dynasty

因盐在国库收入中所占的比重很大,宋朝廷十分重视对盐务的管理,其中盐官的管理更为重要。宋代盐官的管理主要体现在选拔、考核、职责、禁令等诸方面。

Because salt tax played an important role in the treasury income, the court of Song Dynasty attached great importance to the management of salt affairs. Further more, they were even more prudent to the management of salt officials. This paper discusses the management of salt officials in Song Dynasty from selection, examination, responsibility and prohibition.
