摘要
在商务英语阅读教学中,语篇教学是阅读教学的重点之一。由于商务英语文章涵盖面广,内容丰富,专业性强,学生在阅读此类文章时不仅应具备较好的英语知识水平,还应具备基本的商务背景知识、商务语篇知识以及有效的阅读策略。文中将思维导图作为商务英语阅读的教学策略,在阅读中以思维导图为支架引导学生运用语篇阅读策略,理清文章内容的层次关系,主动筛选、提取信息要点,提高商务英语阅读策略意识和阅读理解能力。
Discourse business reading covers a though they might have a reading teaching is an important element in teaching business English reading. Since wide range of professional good command of English. business English, students find it difficult to understand even Basic knowledge of business, knowledge of business discourse and reading strategies are required to facilitate the reading comprehension. This paper proposes the use of mind map in teaching business English discourse reading to improve students' reading strategies and comprehension in business English. Before reading, mind map is adopted to clearly display the required background information to complement or stimulate students' existing schemata; during reading, mind map is a scaffold to guide them in reading with discourse strategies, such as selecting the key information, finding the thread of the discourse and etc.
