This paper makes research into the historical practice of post-colonial translation in British colonies such as Ireland,Indian,China＇s Hongkong,analyzes the similarities and differences among them,and finally discusses its enlightenment on college English education,that is,we should not only have open mind to accept the impact of foreign culture,but also protect and promote our native culture.
