20世纪50、60年代中国作家的精神核体是政治激情与艺术追求的融合体。当代中国作家一方面从一开始就或自主或被动地接受到来自政治层面的规约,另一方面新政权的浪漫构想也实实在在地鼓舞了部分作家。时代要求作家作出政治选择,但作家作为有着独立精神向往的个体又时时得听从艺术的召唤。于是,回旋在艺术和意识形态之间便成为20世纪50、60年代中国作家一个重要的精神状况。论文将20世纪50、60年代的特定时空视作该时段影响中国作家进行精神选择的一个重要的精神背景,以此探寻和挖掘形成作家精神蜕变和精神选择的实质因素。以具体的历史事实呈现了处于政治规约和艺术召唤之间的当代中国作家既具有政治忠诚又怀着艺术向往的精神特质。

The Spiritual Core of Chinese writers in the 1950s and 1960s is integration with Political passion and artistic pursuit. On one hand the contemporary Chinese writers voluntarily accept the trammels of the politics from the outset ; On the other hand, the romantic idea of the new regime truly inspired these writers. Times require writers to make political choices, but as an individual with the independent spirit, the writers have to follow the calls of the art. Thus, the swing between art and ideology becomes an important spiritual state for Chinese writers in the 1950s and 1960s. This paper takes the specific period of 1950s and 1960s as an important spiritual background that affects the choice of Chinese writer, exploring and tapping into the factors which result in the spiritual deterioration or spiritual selection of the writers. By the agency of the specific historical facts we reveal the ethos about Chinese writers that they are in possession of both political integrity and artistic aspirations.
