摘要
基于元功能理论的英语演讲课设计模式在英语演讲课中应用后,90%以上的学生在语言的逻辑性、完整性和交际性上都有了长足的进步,显示出较强的语言驾驭能力和现场控制能力。基于元功能理论的英语演讲课设计模式在调动学生学习主动性和参与性,培养学生观察力、逻辑思辨力、应变力、语言交际等多方面能力上具有一般模式所无法比拟的优势。
Theemergent trend in integrating public speaking into college English curriculum signifies a new era in Chinese English education. This paper, with concrete teaching practice, explores the teaching plans and activity design of the course of public speaking based on metafunction. Hopefully it can make some contribution to the development of public speaking course teaching.
