Analysis of the Restriction Mechanism of Power in Contemporary China Based on Deng Xiaoping's Idea about Restriction of Power

权力制约与监督是邓小平政治体制改革理论的重要组成部分。在纪念建党90周年之际,重温邓小平关于政治体制改革尤其是权力制约思想的论述,对于健全目前我国权力制约机制,实现其现代化,具有重要的理论价值和现实意义。邓小平认为,权力制约的直接目的是防止权力过分集中,根本目的是维护人民民主权利。他主张全方位、多层次、综合性的权力制约机制,并强调权力制约的主体是人民群众。

The idea about restriction and supervision of power is an important part of Deng Xiaoping＇s theory of political system reform. When we eelebrete the 90th birthday of the Chinese Communist Party, reviewing Deng Xiaoping＇s idea about political system reform, especially the idea about restriction of power, will be very important for improvement and of restriction mechanism of power in contemporary China. Deng Xiaoping believes that the direct purpose of restrietlng pov^r is to prevent the power from being excessively centralized, and the radical purpose is to protect the people＇s democratic rights. He insists on an all-dimensional, multi-level and allaround mechanism of power restriction, and he emphazizes that the main body of restricting power is the people.
