基于磺化聚芳醚砜的共混质子交换膜制备及性能

Preparation and Properties of Blend Proton Exchange Membranes Based on Sulfonated Poly(arylene ether sulfone)s

摘要 为了提高磺化聚芳醚砜(SPAES)类质子交换膜的质子导电率及尺寸稳定性,制备了一系列N型(或T型)SPAES共混质子交换膜。采用共混方式,利用具有不同离子交换容量(IEC)的磺酸钠盐(或磺酸三乙胺盐)型SPAES进行了制备。通过测试得到共混膜的膜面方向及厚度方向的尺寸变化率。采用电化学阻抗光谱技术测定共混膜在平面方向的质子导电率。结果表明:T型共混膜的共混性高于N型共混膜;共混膜的尺寸稳定性明显增强,如IEC为2.07 meq/g的T50共混膜在30℃水中膜平面方向及厚度方向的尺寸变化率仅为0.14和0.15;共混膜在温度60℃相对湿度30%~100%下质子导电率(8~247 mS/cm)与纯SPAES膜相当。 In order to improve the proton conductivity and dimensional stability of proton exchange membranes derived from sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone)s(SPAES),a series of N(or T)-type SPAES blend membranes are prepared.The blending method is proposed,and sodium salt form(or triethylamine salt form)SPAES with different ion exchange capacities(IEC)are used.The dimensional changes in the in-plane and through-plane direction of blend membranes are obtained from a test.The proton conductivities of blend membranes in the in-plane are tested by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.The results show that the T-type blend membranes have better intermiscibility than the N-type ones.The dimensional stabilities of both types of blend membranes are enhanced.The T50 blend membrane(IEC=2.07 meq/g)exhibits dimensional changes of 0.14 and 0.15 in the in-plane and through-plane direction in the water of 30 ℃.The blend membranes show comparable proton conductivities(8~274 mS/cm)with pure SPAES membranes around 30%~100% relative humidity at 60 ℃.
