Due to the effects of construction gauge of the tunnels, double-hne integral arch box girders m passenger dedicated lines can＇t go through the tunnel, and must be prefabricated by pre-cutting of partial flange plate on both sides, which is to be cast after the erection. This article describes key design and construction technique for casting the removed flange plate of box girder, and provides reference for similar pre-cast girder construction.
