摘要
波分复用(WDM)技术在现代光纤传输系统中有着重要的位置,因此为本科生开设WDM通信系统实验课是非常必要的。首先测试了WDM的基本特性,然后利用发端机、收端机、摄像头等设备搭建起单芯单向传输和单芯双向传输的双波长WDM视频传输系统,并且通过加大传输链路中光信号衰减的方法来测试这两种系统的接收灵敏度,对所测得的实验结果进行分析。学生通过上述实验过程可掌握WDM系统工作原理和初步掌握系统分析方法,为今后进一步研究打下基础。
Fiber wavelength division multiplexer(WDM) technology occupies a pivotal position in the modern fiber communication system.So it is very necessary to open the WDM communication system experiment for the undergraduates.In the experiment the basic characteristic of the WDM is tested firstly.Then two kinds of dual-wavelength WDM video transmission system are set up using modulator,demodulator,camera and so on.They are single fiber unidirectional system and single fiber bidirectional system.Then the receiver sensitivity of the two systems can be tested by adjusting the adjustable attenuator in the transmission fiber.Finally the experiment result is analyzed.Through the experiment procedure above the students can understand the work principle of the WDM system and preliminarily master the analysis of it.It is the base of further research for the students.
