摘要
先秦两汉文献中出现的"节"字,基本意义为"节乐"与"和乐",同时还兼有"乐章"与"乐器"之意。"节乐"是实现"和乐"的前提和条件,"和乐"是"节乐"的结果。"节"的这一基本意义与音乐美学中的"中声"、"和"等概念范畴共同指示出中国音乐美学发展的基本方向。这一方向大致形成于春秋末期。"节"的音乐内涵实际上处于传统音乐美学的中心层面。
"Jie" has three meanings in the literature of Qin and Han dynasty : first refers to the " control mu- sic" and "coordination music", focusing on the music concept level; second refers to "movement"; third refers to "instrument". The latter two meanings focus on practical aspect of music. "Control music" and "coordination mu- sic" are the basic meanings, which emerge along with the musical aesthetic direction. As "movement " , "jie" has the conection with "sheli"; As"instrument, " "jie" has broad and narrow meanings. Broad meaning refers to all the "jie" instruments. Narrow sense refers to the specific "jie" in the Xiang He song. The position of the "jie" in the xiang He song reflects the distinctive rhythm of the Xiang He song.
