现阶段我国新社会阶层政治参与的特点及引导

The Orientation of the Current Political Participation of New Social Strata in China

新社会阶层的政治参与不仅事关新社会阶层人士的切身利益,还事关和谐社会的构建甚至我国民主政治建设的顺利推进。当前我国新社会阶层的政治参与呈现出一些新特点,如政治参与意识的双重性,政治参与水平的差异性,政治参与的功利性与公益性并存、个体性与组织性并存、制度性与非制度性并存等。鉴于这些特点,对新社会阶层进行有效引导使社会新阶层的政治参与成为一个具体的、有序的行动过程,从而加速中国政治民主化的进程。

The political participation of the new social strata is not simply a matter of vital interest, of the construction of a harmonious society and even of the smooth progress of political democracy in China. At present, the poliiical participation of China＇s new social strata is characterized by some new features, like the duality of political participating awareness and the diversity of political partici pation level. They tend to participate in politics for both utilitarianism and public welfare, involve themselves in the political activities by both individual and organization and immerge in the political course both institutionally and non-institutionally. Given these characteristics, it is critical to orient ate the new social strata to participate in politics in a well-organized process in order to accelerate the course of political democratization in China.
