军队精神障碍患者平均住院日与再入院率的相关性研究

Association between Average Length of Hospital Stay and Readmission Rate in Patients with Mental Disorders in the Military

目的探讨军队精神障碍患者平均住院日与再入院率的关系。方法对2000～2010年某军队精神病诊治中心出院的2147例患者31 d内非计划性再入院率与平均住院日的关系进行分析。结果 133例存在31 d内再入院情况,再入院率与平均住院日无线性相关关系(P>0.05)。结论延长平均住院日不能降低再入院率,为合理医疗、降低医疗资源浪费提供了依据。

Objective To study the association between average length of stay and readmission rate in patients with psychiatric disorders in the Military.Methods Data of 2147 patients admitted to this psychiatry department during 2000 and 2010 and the relationship between unplanned readmission within 31 days of discharge and the average length of stay were analyzed.Results 133 of the patients were readmitted within 31 days of discharge.There were no correlation between average length of stay and readmission rate（P0.05）.Conclusion The results from the reviewed studies of patients with mental disorders suggest that increased length of stay does not contribute to decreasing readmission rate and provide evidence for rational medication and reducing medical costs.
