The theme of Du Guanghui＇s novel—The Hoh Xil Wolf—reflects the prominent ecological criticism and humanitarian warmth.Through the image-building,this work reveals that,the anthropocentrism,the pleasure principle and unlimited growth of the modern model of economic development are real ＂wolves＂ which threaten the environment.A group of ideal images,＂eco-guards＂,are created,and the harmony between man and animal is described,hoping to call for the return of ecological awareness and rebuild the human spirit.As a good ecological text,it is poetic.
