"诗言志"与"诗缘情"是中国古代关于诗歌本质和功能的两个命题,它们的转变有一个很复杂的历程。虽然汉代诗学以诗歌作为政治教化的工具,但却多次不自觉地拈出所谓"止乎礼义"的"情",无意中为"诗言志"向"诗缘情"的转化架起了一座桥梁。

＂Poetry Expressing Ideal＂; ＂Poetry Originating from Passion＂ are two propositions about the poetic essence and function in ancient Chinese. The transition went through a complex course. Although criticism in the Han Dynasty regarded poetry as a tool for political indoctrination, the so-called ＂ceremonial passion＂ is often unconsciously picked up to bring about the transition from ＂Poetry Expressing Ideal＂ to ＂Poetry Originating from Passion＂ .
