The resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(resting-state fMRI) was used to study the brain default network structure of chronic pain patients. In this study,20 patients who afflicted bilateral knee osteoarthritis(KOA) and 20 normal volunteers were selected.Based on seed region of posterior cingu-lated cortex(PCC) of default-mode network,fMRI scan was performed to analyze connection of brain function of the two groups. The results suggest that patients with KOA show abnormal brain functional connectivity which mainly manifest the down-regulation in PCC and up-regulation in limbic lobe and insula lobe com-pared with controls.
