摘要 美国的学校图书馆及图书馆员在美国年轻一代的成长、教育乃至整个社会发展中发挥着重要作用。学校图书馆员通常在上岗前需要取得相关能力资格认证,美国学校图书馆员能力标准是图书馆员能力资格认定的依据。该研究通过大量的文献调查和网络调研,从作用、内涵及特征等方面,对美国最新的学校图书馆能力标准(2010)做了详尽的解读,以期为国内同仁提供参考。 The school libraries and librarians in America play an important role in the development of American younger generation or even the whole nation. Generally, the pre-service school librarians should some related certificates. ALA/AASL Standard for Initial Preparation of School Librarians （2010） is the most ：important criterion of those certificates. With a great literature and web survey, this article analyzed the function, connotation and characteristics of ALA/AASL Standard, in the hope of providing some references to other researchers.
