The Ci （iambic verses） written by Li Yu,the last emperor of SouthernTang Dynasty, showed unique and irresistible charm. With natural language, his verses authentically recorded his life and emotions before and after his national doom,creating specific and vivid images through sincere feelings,lively images and sentimental styles.
