In order to reduce the cost of software development and maintenance,the technology of software reuse must be promoted comprehensively when the new software is developed.The current problems of the software reuse are analyzed briefly,and the method of rank-classification of software reuse is proposed.The specific process and application methods of the object-oriented software reuse technology are analyzed primarily.The research shows that the software reuse techenology can control the costs of software development significantly,it can meet the needs of users,and create more economic benefits for the enterprises.
