把握时代性,从具体的历史条件和时代背景出发,探究中国现代化发展的独特之路,这是马克思主义中国化的历史起点、基本原则、现实动力和根本目标,也是马克思主义时代化的内在动力和根本要求。离开了中国现代化进程的时代性分析,我们将无法真正理解马克思主义中国化和时代化的历史必然性及其衍生发展的具体路径,也无法真正将马克思主义应用到中国现实生活以"化中国"――不断地为中国特色社会主义现代化开辟现实的发展道路,不断地解决中国现代化的问题并指引中国现代化的发展。

Exploring the unique way of modem development of China according to specific historic and time conditions is the historical starting point , fundamental principles and practical motion and basic targets of the Marxist doctrine in China, which embodies the immanent demands of the Marxist doctrine of the times. We cannot really understand the historical necessity of the Marxist doctrine in China and the Marxist doctrine of the times and specific ways of its derivative development without analyzing the epochal characters of the socialization process of China, and nor can we veritably apply Marxism to reality in China to come up with practical ways of development for socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics or solve problems with socialization of China or guide the development of socialization in China.
