Greater Development to Be Made for the Chinese Railways in the New Century

回顾了1949年以来,特别是20世纪90年代中国铁路进入大发展时期后取得的巨大成就。展望未来,对保证国民经济可持续发展、提高人民生活水平和落实国家西部大开发战略等方面进行分析后指出,21世纪中国铁路将会有更大的发展。

Magnificent achievements made since 1949 and in particular since the great development period of the Chinese railways in 1990s are reviewed. Based on the analysis of the future in the aspects of ensuring the sustainable development of the national economy, raising the people' s living standard and implementing the State' s strategy of great development in western China, it is pointed out that greater development will be achieved for the Chinese railways in the 21st century.
