Suggestions Concerning Cultivated Land Protection and Management in Chongqing,1996-2009

耕地是农业生产的基础,耕地保护不仅是数量的保护,更重要是耕地质量的建设.笔者综合分析了1996年来重庆耕地数量减少的事实,结合多年监测数据分析了耕地养分退化现状和酸化趋势.文章就重庆耕地保护管理,从制定法律法规、严保耕地红线、实施科技项目、建立预警机制、提高耕者素质等方面提出建议,旨在加强耕地保护、提升耕地质量,促进重庆农业健康发展.

Based on the data from 1996 to 2009, the authors of the paper highlight the fact that the acreage of cultivated land was reduced in Chongqing and analyze the general trend of its deterioration in soil nutrition and acidification. Taking into account the present situation of cultivated land protection and management in Chongqing, this article puts forward some recommendations, including the formulation of relevant laws and regulations, insistence on the ＂cultivated land red line＂, the implementation of technology projects, establishment of early warning mechanisms, and improvement of the quality of the tillers. It is expected that these recommendations will help to strengthen the protection of farmland, improve its quality and promote the healthy development of agriculture in Chongqing.
