Chen Guofu＇ s educational thougths are rich in content and cover a wide range, which include：education should be based on the inherent ethics;focus should be put on family education,especially maternal education;education should be combined with practical idcas;education should be pcople-oriented, thoughts on social education, and education should be integrated with Three Principles of the People. These ideas had certain positive effects on the in- spirational education on the people and the promotion of the modernization of Chinese education process,and are beneficial for the reform of modem social education.
