With the Sad Man Along:A Comparison of the Ci-poems by Qin Guan and Jiang Chunlin

北宋婉约词大家秦观,其词作意境凄婉,被冯煦称为"真古之伤心人"。清代著名词人蒋春霖,其性格、气质及身世遭遇与秦观相似,词作也呈现出感伤的基调。他们的词作在文学史上地位都比较突出,而在思想内容和艺术上又各有特色。

Qin Guan was famous for his tactful ci-poems in the Northern Song Dynasty.For his plaintive style and beautiful artistic conception,he was regarded as ＂a real broken-hearted man in the ancient time＂ by the renowned literary critic Feng Xu.Jiang Chunlin,whose character and temperament were similar to Qin,was also good at expressing sad sentiments.The similarities and differences between their poetic contents and creations are discussed in this paper to clarify their status in the Chinese literary history and their own unique styles.
