A Study on Peasant Painting of Guizhou Province

贵州是多民族聚居的省份,少数民族历史悠久,有着丰厚的民间美术传统文化底蕴。自20世纪80年代以来,现代民间绘画作为一个传承和发展民间美术的新兴画种迅速发展起来。现代民间绘画习惯上被称作农民画,文章以水城农民画为个案来研究贵州农民画的历史、发展,重点讨论它的艺术特征以及贵州民间美术对它的影响。

Guizhou is a multi-ethnic province; its minority nationality has a long history, and it is rich in traditional culture of folk art. Folk painting is the important paxt of the folk art, modem folk painting as an inheritance and development of the folk art of the new kind of paintin, g developed rapidly since the 1980s. Modem folk painting is customarily called peasant paintings,This article takes Shuicheng peas^ant paintings as an individual case to research the history and development of Guizhou peasant paintings. The discussion focuses on the artistic characteristics and the influence of Guizhou folk art.
