On Three Different English Versions of YujiaAo Written by FanZhongyan From the Aspect of Versified Translation Theory

分别从意象、意境、格律、语言风格等方面对范仲淹《渔家傲》的三种英译进行鉴赏,并加以对比分析,说明中国古典诗词在英译过程中采用诗化译法的优点,最大限度地传译出原诗的美学价值。

With the versified translation theory, this article makes a comparative analysis of the three different English versions of Yujia Ao written by Fan Zhongyan , from such aspects as imagery, artistic conception, metrical units and language style, and the paper tries to prove the advantages of versified translation in the process of classical Chinese poetry translation, particularly in reproducing aesthetic value of the original poem.
