Eyes are important organs for human beings. The important functions of eye for the production and life has been discovered early . With the analysis of characters about eyes in the book ＂Origin of Chinese Characters＂, the paper tries to expain the different meanings about eyes between the ancient times and the modem times, to master the actual value of those characters of eyes, and to put better use of those words.
