中国的高等职业教育已经进入了由规模发展转向内涵发展的新时期。在注重高等职业教育质量发展的引导下树立高职院校的品牌效应和增强核心竞争力显得尤为重要,文化作为提高高职院校核心竞争力和促进内涵发展的灵魂载体,应该形成一定的特色才能有效推动高等职业教育的和谐发展。高职院校特色文化建设的有效途径包括:回归物质文化建设与精神文化建设的统一,注重文化建设中的高等性,注重人文教育,强调文化育人功能,加强与地域性文化的融合,注重创业文化的培育,从而提高自身文化实力以塑造高职院校的品牌。

China＇s higher vocational education has changed from scale development to connotation development in the new period. It＇s significant to set up brand effects of higher vocational colleges and enhance their core competitiveness under the guidance of focusing on the quality of higher vocational education. Culture, as the key to enhance the competitiveness of higher vocational colleges and a soul to promote their connotation development,should possess its own characteristics in order to effectively promote the development of higher vocational educa- tion. the effective ways of cultural comtmction with characteristics in vocational colleges include： return to the unity of the construction of mate- rial culture and spiritual culture, focus on the supreme characteristic of cultural construction and humanities education,emphasize the cultural education, strengthen the integration of regional cultures, and focus on fostering an entrepreneurship culture so as to improve the cultural strength and establish the brand of higher vocational colleges.
