路翎《财主底儿女们》作为中国现代文学史上的长篇巨制之一,对其研究的历程充满着坎坷。作品于四十年代出版后得到了胡风等人的一致赞评,而五十年代后政治语境的畸形强化,使得对其研究进入停滞甚至歪曲,七十年代末以来,文化语境走向自由与开放,人们开始了对这部作品的重新打量,特别是九十年代以来,研究成果日渐丰硕。但是,在研究中还存在不足,还有诸多研究领域尚待开拓,诸多研究潜质尚待挖掘。

LU Ling＇ novel The Sons and Daughters of the Rich Man is one of the most valuable novels in modern Chinese literature, whose course of research is full of ups and downs. The work has got praise from critics like HU Feng in 1940s. But the abnormal strengthening of political context in 1950s led its research to stagnation or even distortion. Since the late 1970s, the cultural context approach to be free and open, people began to study the work in new eyes. Especially since the 1990s, the researches have made tremendous achievements. However, many shortcomings still occur in the studies as well as many absent research areas and research potential stands to be prospected.
