News reviews are a flag of media groups. It represents the media group＇s political stand and viewpoint, and should function in the direction of public opinions. News reviews of Xinjiang mainstream media need to be improved concerning its small quantity, homogenization content, out-of-date viewpoints and singular forms. This paper intends to explore how the news review of Xinjiang mainstream media guides direction of public opinions better.
