Reasons Analysis for Education Development in Xiaowen and Xuanwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty

北魏孝文宣武时期为了更好地统治中原地区,积极倡导学习汉文化,使教育得到了较好的发展。究其原因,主要是孝文帝和宣武帝重视学习汉文化以及地方官吏的积极支持,再加上有良好的重学氛围,因此,此阶段教育发展与北魏其它时期相比,取得了较为显著的成绩。

In order to dominate Central Plains better, rulers were active to encourage people to study Han culture in Xiaowen and Xuanwu of the Northern Wei dynasty. So under these history conditions, education developed well. The reasons mainly went as follows：the great attention to study Han culture paid by Xiaowen Di and Xuanwu Di, the active support from the local government officials and the good study environment. Thereby, during this time education development made more achievement than any other time in Northern Wei dynasty.
