The Coming of Greek Myths to China on the Silk Road

自先秦以来,古希腊神话随着中西交往的发展而传入中国,且传入形式不断发生变化,从最初的口耳相传,到小型物件和宗教的附着。古希腊神话传入中国不仅折射出中西文化交流的历史面貌,同时也体现出华夏文化在历史上的强势地位及其兼收并蓄、富于借鉴的优良传统。

The coming of Greek myths to China had been lasting for nearly 2000 years since Pre-Qin Dynasty. Due to the development of Sino - West intercourses, the modilities of Greek myths coming to China had been chan- ging from mouth-ear rumours to attachments to art ware and religions. The coming of Greek myths to China not only reflects the historical features of Sino-West cultural intercourses, but also shows the superiority of Chinese culture in history and its fine traditons of combination and uses of different ones.
