阐述了林业产业在我国经济社会发展中越来越重要的作用和党中央、国务院近年来对发展林业产业的高度重视。提出我国林业产业发展还存在一些困难和问题，如森林资源支撑能力较弱，发展总体水平较低，林产品科技含量低，林业机械制造业水平落后等。提出了下一步发展林业产业的重点工作。

The paper presents the more and more important role of forestry industry in China＇ s economic and social development, and that the Party Central Committee and the State Council accord great importance to the the development of forestry industry in recent years. It holds that there are still some difficulties and problems in the development of Chinese forestry industry, such as forest resource supporting capacity is weak, the overall level of development is low, lower science and technology of forest products, forestry machine-building industry lag behind. It puts forward the key work of forestry industry development in the next step.
