The catalytic mechanism of polyether polyols synthesis with DMC catalyst was introduced. Through discussing and analyzing the representative viewpoint in China as well as our practices of research, the relationship between the organic ligand and the active center in DMC catalyst system was researched. It was important to under- stand comprehensively the catalytic mechanism of DMC.
