明清以来的黔西北文化史上,出现过金沙潘氏、毕节路氏等诗人家族,但作为古今传承不断,学术研究与诗歌创作兼得,影响较为深广的彝族诗人家族,惟余氏而已。余氏家族富有深厚的文化传统,以诗歌创作、学术研究为传承文化方式,并注重彝汉文化、中外文化交流。余氏家族是贵州地域文学与民族文学的杰出代表,同时也是贵州家族文化的典型之一。

Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties,there have been Jinsha＇panshi and Bijie＇lushi poet family in the northwestern cultural history of Guizhou.As poet family of Yi nationality,only Yushi family has the heritage through the ages,has both academic research and poetry creation and has a far reaching influence.Yushi family has deep cultural tradition,it is not only cultural contnuity in poetry creation and academic research,but also paying attention to the cultures of yi-han and sino-foreign cultural exchange.Yushi family is not only an outstanding representative of national and regional literature,but also one of the typical family culture of Guizhou.
