Controversies on Homeschooled Children's Socialization Problem in America

随着"在家上学"运动在美国的迅速发展,"在家上学"的儿童是否能够顺利实现社会化成为了一个焦点议题。关于该问题,学者们大体持三类观点:"社会化危机"论、"社会化良好"论和"差异社会化"论。"社会化危机"论认为"在家上学"的儿童难以像那些在学校就读的孩子一样顺利实现社会化;"社会化良好"论认为"在家上学"的儿童同样能够顺利实现社会化;"差异社会化"论认为应该区别看待"在家上学"的不同群体,这些儿童是否能够顺利实现社会化取决于具体的教育方式。

With the rapid development of homeschooling in America,it turns to be a hot topic that whether homeschooled children could be socialized smoothly. Generally, scholars hold three kind of views： socialization crisis,weU-off socialization and differential socialization. In the view of socialization crisis,homeschooled children couldn＇t be socialized smoothly compared with students in school,in the view of well- off socialization,homeschooled children also could be socialized smoothly,and in the view of differential socialization,homeschooled children should be divided into different groups and the socialization course depends on the various educational ways.
