Fenliuweiyu wreck, located in the southwest of the Haitan Island of Pingtan waters, Fujian, was discovered in 2010. According to underwater archaeological survey, the seabed of the site is full of mud and sand and the distribution of relics is relatively concentrated. All of the underwater relics from the shipwreck site are celadon including bowls, dishes and cup brackets. Their shapes are neat, the body is compact and the glaze is grayish green. On the basis of those characters, it can be concluded that they are productions of the Yue kiln and important cargoes for overseas sale during the Five Dynasties period.
