加与减:对中国武术发展的另类思考

Addition and Subtraction:An Alternative Consideration on Development of Chinese Wushu

纵观中国武术发展之路,我们在武术上做加法太多,做减法太少。加的结果是使武术日渐积重难返,为枝节所困扰,左右为难,进退失矩。当前,世界全球化发展使得同质化进程日渐加快且不可逆转。只有解除对武术的束缚,剔除它身上历史的重负才能使其重获新生。这种减法并不是直接的切割抛弃,而应该是有选择的提炼,还原武术的精华,凝聚武术的元典文化,只有这样,才能展现出中国武术最辉煌灿烂的一面。

Throughout the development of Chinese Wushu, we may find out that there has been too many additions done to the Wushu while only a few subtractions. As a result, it is difficult for Wushu to get rid of the bad old practices and to get out of the obsession of minor matters. The development of Wushu has faced a dilemma. The current development of the globalization already has become finality and homogenization process has been developed rapidly with irre- versible trend. Only with the removal of the chains and burdens, can Chinese Wushu turn a new leaf. Such kind of subtraction is selective extraction rather than direct cutting. And its purpose is to restore the essence of Wushu and to agglomerate the classical culture. In this way, the Chinese Wushu can show the most brilliant and bright side.
